The squad hard at work laying the foundations for what would become our bridge. (Above) |
The first foundation of our viaduct inspired bridge. Bamboo sticks were used to create a solid base that would branch out into further supports. (Below) |
The table underneath was the tested measurement deployed to ensure that passing vessels such as ships could pass underneath our bridge. It was also a handy support during construction. (Above) |
Composing the top of the bridge in a similar design to viaduct bridges although more for visual appearance instead of function. (Above) |
Complete. The bridge had support above and below. These above frames however worked more for aesthetically purposes rather than improving the bridges overall structure. (Above) |
Finish Line! (Above) |
Geoff tests the suspension of our build. It was safe to say our bridge worked brilliantly as the car made it cross a number of times without struggling. Even surviving Geoff's steering. |
