Exhibition: Did you know?

The 'Did you know?' exhibition was eventually put
together after the printing marathon completed at
Ravensbourne uni.

The expedition and the awareness of cctv went very
well as the public interacted with the work produced
as well as feedback forums brilliantly.

web of cameras around the somerset house area. The
primary research was produced by Tom and myself.

The overall experience of collaborating and producing
an exhibition at the renowned somerset house venue
was a challenging but rewarding project. I wish to
continue to collaborate with like minded individuals
as well as hopefully display my work at such renowned
venues.

Exhibition: Did you know? // Printing

Just a quick update on the exhibition.
Oh wait! I don't think I've said yet. Myself
and a group of peers from Ravens bourne
won the chance to put together an exhibition
at Somerset house at the beginning of the
month. Our final submission was the alarming
use of cctv in the uk as the world's most
watched nation.

The exhibition is called 'Did you know?' and
corporates ideas and mediums from all
designers involved. Therefore I'll later post the
final outcome at a later date, but below
illustrates my participation producing the
posters and booklets physically.

Callum Blake (Above) doesn't go small, exemplified by
his persistence to print the logo he designed for the
exhibition on 4x A0 prints. Let's just say the technicians
were not happy filling the yellow cartridge three times.

(Above) The template for the booklet and
leaflets I designed for the exhibition. These
were re-produced 30x for the first day of
the exhibition. These were all gone by the
second.

(Above) The true hero of the day managing
to print over 12 pieces of a2 work and over 4
pieces of A0 without any slip ups.
God bless this printer.

for the initial opening of the exhibition.

New Science project

The brief was to create a magazine cover for the New
Science publisher. The theme was open to interpretation
so I subsequently decided to focus on Artificial
Intelligence.

Taking inspiration form popular science fiction I
produced a number of sketches that would be used
as the centre piece of the cover.

I decided on two sketches I
wanted to develop digitally
for the final outcome. This
was the robotic hand and
the human face with robotic
components.
The robotic hand illustration created
on Adobe illustrator.

For the illustration of the robotic
face I experimented with different
colours and finally decided upon a
vibrant pink as it highlighted the
detail of the piece.

Healthy eating campaign

This is an advertising campaign I
developed to promote healthy eating
as well as reduced packaging for
fruit. Experimenting with different
mark making and font styles I
produced a simple design that
I believe endorses my intended
targets.

Mapping

This project was to produce a piece
of infographics that would map out
a journey or location.

The map of my brothers face
was a sketch piece digitalised
to include text as well as photo
correction.This was inspired by
a collaboration project in Italy with
creative groups Happy
Centro and Scalacolore. They each
chose a letter and produced a piece
that described 'travelling'.

As a result, I developed this idea
and produced a letter I chose using
a similiar technique to the creative
communities. Therefore, I chose 'I'
The brainstorm page of secondary
artists and influences I used as
inspiration for this project.
