Personal Manifesto Project:
Aim:
To design a personal manifesto based on aspirations &
experiences.
Outcomes:
An information project that takes first hand research
into design process and outcomes.
Russian Propaganda:
Aim:
To create a set of work that conveys culturally relevant
subjects responding to previous artists and designers.
Outcomes:
An exploration of different styles & mediums further
expanding design process.

Mapping:
Aim:
To devise inventive and experimental approaches to
describing physical spaces.
Outcomes:
To create a visual mapping communication based on
a real life context and understand how such
information can be freshly addressed within the design
process.

Type Transformers:
Aim:
To experience drawing and typeface manipulation,
working to type uniformity and exploring ideas.
Outcomes:
To create an array of transforming letters to images,
extending ability to develop visual sense and form.

Brand Identity:
Aim:
To do active brainstorming, experience writing, naming
and branding, extend your ability to create concepts
and present them.
Outcomes:
Experience team working, sharing of ideas and how
design & advertising is originated and presented in
creating a brand identity.

Climate Change Project:
Aim:
To design a set of visual communications on climate
action that explores the use of layout, colour and
concepts.
Outcomes:
An information project that takes first hand research

Aim:
To create a unique design for an award winning book
of your choice that also explores a number of
conceptual ideas as well as typography
experimentation.

Campaign Project:
Aim:
To increase your ability to solve visual communication
problems in creative ways and to exploit the potential
of sequential communications in use.
Outcomes:
Create effective strong visual messages that are
focussed on a specific social or personal issue.
Show enhanced critical judgement in the use of
research and selection of appropriate media.

Aim:
To increase your ability to solve visual communication
problems in creative ways and to have increased media
experimentation.
Outcomes:
Solve visual design problems in an effective and
convincing manner. Show enhanced critical judgement
in the use of research and selection of appropriate
media. 

Somerset House Exhibition:
Aim:
produce a concept for an exhibition at the somerset
house venue revolving around the theme of data
within a given time period.
Outcome:
Create a public display of infographics presented at
somerset house that meets the criteria of the given
brief.

Big Draw Submissions:
Aim:
produce an assortment of work that incorporates
drawing techniques that celebrates the big draw event.
Outcome:
Create a practical concept that experiments with
different mark making mediums.

Chris Piascik Responses:
Aim:
To Research a designer and respond on their style &
themes of work.
Outcomes:
To produce an outcome that incorporates design
features learnt from an existing designer.

Channel Ident:
Aim:
For the BBC two channel advertise the channels unique
'2' logo in a motion graphic medium. Experiment with a
range of techniques to illustrate the channels identity.
Outcomes:
Conclude with a final motion graphic channel ident for
BBC 2 as well as a compilation of developed concepts
for the '2' logo.

Illustration Covers:
Aim:
To develop illustrations on given themes and know how
to develop concepts and images appropriate to the
given brief.
Outcomes:
To create graphic illustrations that work within an
established format.
